allmine in Oceanside is one of my new favorite pizza spots in North County! They use fresh, high-quality ingredients in their pizzas and you can definitely taste the difference. Their tomato sauce was undoubtedly the best pizza sauce I’ve ever had. The tomatoes were so fresh and very well seasoned. The crust was surprisingly flavorful and you could taste the wood-fire oven difference. I’m excited to try more of their pizzas and highly, highly recommend this spot!

The highlight was the pepperoni. LOVED its crispiness. The amount of cheese and sauce was perfect.

I loved how all the flavors in the Buffalo Chicken Pizza came together: the heat and tang from the Buffalo sauce, the red onion flavor, and the freshness from the cilantro. I slightly preferred the pepperoni because they were so crispy.

We spent the day at Torrey Pines and ended it with dinner nearby at Buonasera New York Pizzeria. Their pizza reminded me of Joe’s Pizza in NY and Mamma’s In South Pasadena! I loved the flavor of their sauce and the cheese-to-sauce ratio was on point.

Blue Ribbon Artisan Pizza in Encinitas has a great happy hour! Their pizza has the perfect cheese to sauce ratio and a generous amount of pepperoni. It’s just a little pricey, even with the happy hour discount.

High quality pizza! I’m not a fan of thin crust, but it worked well here. I loved the mix of honey, balsamic, and BBQ chicken on the Chef’s Special slice.

Odie’s Pizza Co is an amazing new pizza spot in Downtown Oceanside! They serve high quality pizza with several gluten free and vegan options. I loved their “Welcome to Paradise” slice because of their crispy, cupped pepperoni. I also enjoyed the “Biggie Smalls.” I’d never had a pizza with vodka sauce, and it worked really well here! We came for happy hour and got a good deal on drinks, too. I’ll be back to try more slices!

This spot is rated the Best Pizza in San Diego! While I didn’t agree, they did a great job at recreating authentic Italian pizzas. It didn’t come close to the pizza we had in Italy, but I still enjoyed it. The highlight was the San Marzano tomato sauce, which had a distinct and fresh flavor that paired well with mozzarella and basil.

If you’re fan of crispy, thin crust pizza, you’ll enjoy Pizza Union. My favorite slice was the New Yorker because you can’t go wrong with pepperoni, sausage, and mushrooms. And garlic is an excellent touch!

I’m a sucker for huge slices and lots of pepperoni. This pizza was on the greasier end, which I actually prefer. It just didn’t have as nice of a bite as the other ones because it had the thinnest crust.

Tikka Pizza Kitchen in Escondido fuses pizza and Indian flavors and it’s brilliant. We got a Tikka Masala pizza with chicken and paneer and I loved the flavors from the sauce. I’ll be back to try their other pizzas!

Their pizza was pretty good; it just lacked a little sauce. Thankfully they serve marinara sauce on the side, which all pizza places should be doing because I love a good cheese-to-sauce ratio.

Pizza Guys is a great pizza chain and I tried their location in Escondido! Their sauce to cheese ratio was pretty good; it could’ve been a little cheesier. I liked their pepperoni, sausage, and red onion though.

Pretty solid pizza spot in downtown Oceanside! I wish the pizza had a little more sauce and toppings, but I recommend it to thin-crust fans.
