This meal transported me back home to my parents' kitchen. Their Lechon Kawali was cooked to perfection: fatty, crispy, and juicy. They even have Vegetarian Pancit! It's my favorite Filipino spot in North County.

They’re very generous with the portions and reasonably priced. Plus, the Pork Sisig and Pancit were delicious. I’m looking forward to trying other dishes, like the Lechon Kawali and Silogs, next time.

JamPinoy is a brand new Jamaican and Filipino restaurant in Vista! This time, I went with the Filipino dishes: Chicken Adobo, Kare Kare, and Pancit. My favorite was the Kare Kare because the flavors were on point and I appreciated that they used beef instead of oxtail, which was so fatty and tender. The Pancit met my expectations and I wish the Chicken Adobo had more sauce because it was so good. I’ll be back to try their Jamaican dishes and Filipino breakfast!

Sayulitas’ Pac-Man Burrito was MASSIVE. I struggled to finish half of it in one sitting. But it was so delicious and I loved each of the components, especially the Filipino tocino and carne asada. If you’re looking for Filipino/Mexican food under one roof, head over to Sayulitas!
