This was one of my favorite meals in Nashville. The brisket melted in my mouth, had so much flavor and juice, and was smoked to perfection. The BBQ sauce was also wonderful. Stay tuned for our Nashville BBQ (and Mac n Cheese) ranking!

This was another one of my favorite meals in Nashville. The fried chicken was the star of this dish; it was possibly the best fried chicken I’ve ever had. I honestly could’ve gone without the biscuits and the gravy because the chicken was so flavorful on its own. Even though we waited for 30 min, it was very worth!

That dry rub. So much flavor. Top it off with their house BBQ sauce… chef’s kiss!

One of the best donuts I’ve ever had. The 100 layers and the flavors were phenomenal. My favorite flavor was the King Kong (maple bacon), but the Chocolate Sea Salt was a very close 2nd place. I don’t usually like filled donuts, but their filling was excellent; one was like cream and the other like frosting. You must try if you’re ever in Nashville!

Loved their pulled pork and the vinegary BBQ sauce complimented it very well.

If you’re looking for a sweet treat on 12 South, go to Christie’s. Their cookies were perfectly gooey and had nice chunks of chocolate.

I had to try the infamous Hattie B’s, which we waited around 45 min for. The highlights of their hot chicken sandwich were surprisingly the “comeback sauce” and slaw. The chicken could’ve been juicier though.

Mini donuts are fantastic because you get to try lots of flavors in one sitting. My favorite was the Reese’s.

It was almost 100 degrees and very humid when we got there, so we had to start off our food tour with shaved ice! It brought me back to Hawaii.
